My wife and I are very fit travellers in our middle-50’s.

We have one gripe that seems to inflict three out of four hotels we stay in! The lighting is just too dim!

The best without doubt was the Brandeburger Hof in Berlin. We’d rate this as the best city hotel we’ve stayed in and we’ve stayed at supposedly some of the best and most expensive.
